HISTORY

1999

The first production facility equipped with advanced technologies and possessing the largest enclosed area in the Construction Chemicals sector was operationalized in Bozüyük in 1999. Within the same year, the first domestic sales were made with VitrA Fix branded products.

2000

As of the year 2000, the product portfolio consisted of 5 different ceramic tile adhesives and 5 different grout fillers. With these products developed for standard floor and wall tile applications, the foundation stones of the product portfolio began to be laid. The first export was also made within the same year.

2005

By 2005, in parallel with developments in energy efficiency, VitrA Therm Exterior Thermal Insulation Systems were introduced to the market. VitrA Therm, with its product technology and quality, won the "best thermal insulation product" award of 2005.

2007

With the Mersin Production Facility that was put into operation in 2007, the total production capacity increased to 160,000 tons annually, and with the production capacity and logistics locations of the facilities, a stronger and more ambitious position was reached not only in the domestic market but also in the foreign market.

2008

In 2008, export sales of the VitrA Therm product group began.

In November 2015, the factory established in the Bozüyük Organized Industrial Zone was commissioned. With the commitment of Koramic to development and continuity in quality, a very large and special area was allocated for R&D in the Bozüyük factory, which is equipped with modern laboratories and the latest technological equipment, and the total annual capacity increased to 248,000 tons with the start of production.

Today, Koramic's VitrA Fix branded products continue to be used confidently in many projects across 49 countries, including Turkey...
